My [MONA x +] scarf.
Crocheted as we drove to Hobart for opening of [MONA x +] a couple of weekends ago.
No pattern - it just grew, and found a life of it's own, as I stared out the window and lost myself in the scenery, and the quiet, and my thoughts.
It's so pretty, I must try and write the pattern down, one day.
It will always remind me of beautiful weekend we had - the amazing [MONA x +] experience, wonderful friends, and the bluest of skies...
....as blue as the soft cotton yarn I pulled from my stash as we headed out the door x
That fantastic! realy! these website is way better then everything I ever saw.

He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 1847, the son of a man who was consumed, passionately consumed, with the workings of the human voice, how it is produced and used, and especially, in teaching the deaf how to use it. For in those days, you see, the deaf lived in permanent solitude. Not only could they not hear, they could not speak. After all, how could they pronounce words, they couldn’t hear? Perhaps this obsession of the elder Bell was one of the reasons he married whom he did. For the woman who would give birth to the inventor of the telephone…… was deaf!
