"When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you - a joy." ~ rumi
My soul embraced change in many forms this week, and in doing so I was blessed with my own little river of joy.
The changing colors of Autumn - fiery red, golden yellow and burnt orange. Leaves collected during quiet walks, now scattered on my kitchen widow sill. They make me smile.
The last of my agapanthas flowers surrendered to the season. What remains behind is stark simplicty - beautiful form. Delicate tendrils to admire and share.
Another beehive beanie, just for the pleasure of it. A change in color from grey to red. I love it - so does he.
The biggest change of all is one I hope will bring joy, eventually.... a change of school for a beautiful girl. A fresh start, a new beginning - away from all the sadness and confusion. Please, wish her luck.
How was your joy+ride this week?
oh, i do hope a change of school brings fresh confidence and fulfillment to your girl.
[ i do recall some less than average school experiences myself so feel for anyone who has finds it awful, too...]
xx

Agghhh, school ... it's so difficult to explain that she will look back and realise that it was about them, not her.
Now I want a red beanie too!!

Nice to think Autumn is a time of change, and of harvest too... going with the changes, harvesting the joys and the richness of the colours they can bring... Life in deeper colour through the courage to flow and change...
All the best to your beautiful girl. Warm wishes and joy.

I wish your little girl all the best in her new school. It's a place where you spend a lot of hours in the day. It must be a good place to be to blossom.
My joy+ride: celebrating 14 years of motherhood yesterday, as our eldest kid turned 14. Tall, handsome (ofcourse) and with his heart in the right place.
